Happy Valentines Day! from Humble Quilts

My heart is full and I feel very blessed! Thank you all for being a part of my life, online and in person! You all enrich my life immensely!

A reader made a suggestion to replace a couple of strings on the basket, but I'm still stuck moving forward.

Using the background as a border gives me the illusion of a window.

checkerboard on the right, pretty fabric on the left. Neither is working for me.

Maybe I'll just leave it as a top to bring to class.

Llama Love from Quilt Doodle Doodles

We've had some really cold days here in Minnesota, but I guess it's typical weather for us. I love warming the house up with the smells of fresh baked goods! I've been craving Tri-level Brownies. My absolute favorite brownie recipe! I've been making these since 1983 when I first was given a Better Homes and Gardens Cookie book by my grandparents. The Week of Love from Humble Quilts

I didn't get this completed until Valentines day and I was out of town at that time, so here is my sweet little "love" project.

I had intended to make it for the VA quilt museum fundraiser but I was too slow and didn't get it completed on time.

I loved this little umbrella fabric for the backing.

Love Bugs from Quilt Doodle Doodles...

My neighborhood is covered in a sheet of ice this morning. It's a perfect day to work on something bright and cheery like 'Love Bug Mug Rugs'. This was a quick and easy project. I dug thru my stash and found a couple of fat quarters, one pink and one blue. (Just for fun!) I was able to make two mug rugs, along with the binding out of these two fat quarters.
